Meet David Millar.
David joined Blue Cedar Homes in May 2014 as Senior Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
Day-to-day, he manages the contractors on site at all of Blue Cedar Homes’ developments. At the outset of each scheme David undertakes a range of responsibilities; producing detailed build costs and managing the projects to ensure that construction runs to schedule and to budget.
Most of David’s time is spent between our Exeter headquarters and the Bristol office although he regularly goes to site to see the progress of our developments, making sure that everything is running smoothly.
David said: “I really enjoy being part of the Blue Cedar Homes team and I take real satisfaction in seeing the finished schemes and owners enjoying their new homes. However, there are times where events can conspire to make this more than a little difficult.
“In the past three years, I’ve overseen the successful completion of many of our developments which are now providing beautiful places to live for our homebuyers in small, safe and exclusive communities.”
Outside work, David competes in kayak racing at a local and national level, recently coming second in his age group in the national championships.
