It’s been a busy start to 2017 for Blue Cedar Homes, with a number of exciting new projects already underway and even more in the pipeline.
The first milestone is the opening of the stunning new showhome at Oak Tree Gardens in the exclusive woodland village of West Hill near Exeter. The showhome is now open, offering the opportunity to tour the new development and get a feel for the luxury, age-exclusive homes available in this much sought-after location. Chestnut Gardens in the Oxfordshire village of Shrivenham has proved very popular with only three new homes left for sale, which will be available for occupation upon completion of the development. We are pleased to announce that we will be building another Blue Cedar Homes scheme in the nearby village of Stanford in the Vale which, like Shrivenham, is in the Vale of White Horse.
Southmoor Gardens, in the Oxfordshire village of Kingston Bagpuize near Abingdon, is due to be completed in early 2018. Just 10 miles outside the historic city of Oxford and close to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we believe this is yet another village which will provide an ideal location for an active retirement.
In neighbouring Gloucestershire, close to Broadway, we will soon be building new homes in Willersey, a Cotswolds village with a much-admired duck pond, village shop and two pubs.
In the coming months, we will begin work at Fairway Gardens in the South Hams village of Sparkwell, between Ivybridge and the maritime city of Plymouth. Also in the South Hams, we will be bringing forward a development in the coastal village of Stoke Gabriel.
Later this year will see the start of our third scheme in Cornwall, this time in the idyllic seaside town of St Ives. This follows our success at Lemon Gardens in Truro and Mylor Gardens at Mylor Bridge near Falmouth, which is due for completion in June and where there are still some homes for sale. A showhome will be open there soon.
