National Trust Killerton Estate

An enduring favourite with visitors of all ages, the Killerton Estate has something to offer history buffs, garden enthusiasts and walkers alike. Tour Killerton House to learn about the Acland family and enjoy the latest exhibition in the upstairs gallery. Take a turn in the beautiful gardens where winding paths lead you to hidden treasures including an ice house, a bear’s hut and the family chapel. A fashionable haunt of 19th century royalty, Sidmouth remains a popular 21st century seaside destination, boasting hundreds of listed buildings and a liberal sprinkling of blue plaques. The Donkey Sanctuary

Set along the historic Jurassic Coast and nestled in the tranquil East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the world-famous Donkey Sanctuary is home to rescued donkeys, mules and hinnies.
