It’s been a tremendous year of growth for Blue Cedar Homes and we were delighted to celebrate our 150th sale in July this year as Mr and Mrs Cooper (pictured) moved into Stannary Gardens in Chagford, Dartmoor National Park. As Chagford residents for 24 years, we were thrilled to help them find their perfect property to enjoy retirement in the community they love.

Since Blue Cedar Homes was established in 2008 by Managing Director, Nick Hole, we have completed 17 developments across the south, west and south west of England. Each of our schemes has been carefully designed to create homes for people who are retired, rather than retirement homes.
We hope to bring a new lease of life to our customers with a fresh approach to retirement properties that are perfectly suited to an active and independent lifestyle. Our small, exclusive schemes create friendly, village-like communities where residents can enjoy the company of their like-minded neighbours and the enhanced leisure time afforded by our dedicated Estate Managers.
As we move into 2018, we have 12 schemes in development that we look forward to sharing with you as they progress. In addition to our six sites currently available for new owners in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Oxfordshire and Monmouthshire, this will make 2018 our busiest year to date with a 30% increase in our build rate over 2017. By the end of 2018 we aim to have built 230 homes in total, in some of the most desirable locations across the southern counties.
We will shortly have more information to share about our forthcoming sites in Exmouth, Sparkwell, Stoke Gabriel, and Stoke Fleming in Devon; Stoke-sub-Hamdon in Somerset; St Ives in Cornwall; Kingston Bagpuize and Bampton in Oxfordshire; and Willersey, and Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire.
