Navigating the Pandemic.

By Nick Hole, Managing Director

2020 has been a very different year for us all.

These uncertain times have for many given the opportunity to reflect on where we live and what is important to us. For me, it has firmly shone a spotlight on the importance of community and this has cemented my conviction in the value of the Blue Cedar Homes approach which creates small developments that foster a strong sense of community; where like- minded people know their neighbours and can look out for one another.

It has been so pleasing to hear examples of this in practice from our developments over the last few months such as a VE day garden party arranged by residents in the midst of lockdown, where all of the neighbours came together (socially distanced of course) in the communal gardens to celebrate and importantly catch up with each other.

I have also never been more proud of our team, who with their dedication and creativity have kept the momentum in the business. We have celebrated Blue Cedar Homes’ 200th house sale since our last newsletter and have experienced an incredibly busy summer and autumn with a surge in enquiries and sales across all of our sites. With more retirees attracted to our bespoke freehold properties which are purpose-designed for later living, we are keeping busy creating more small collections of homes in highly desirable areas.

So, if this year’s circumstances have made you consider moving, do speak to our team on 01392 369704, as they have great experience in helping our customers work through the steps everyone faces when looking to move home.
