Social season at Stannary Gardens.
Located within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, Stannary Gardens at Chagford has been a hub of activity during the summer months.
A busy season began with an art, antiques and collectables valuation day in June. We were delighted to be joined by an expert panel from Chilcotts Auctioneers, including Principal Valuer, Duncan Chilcott, and specialists in jewellery, silver, furniture, and textiles.
Visitors from far and wide joined us with their heirlooms, valuables and objets d’art for an informal, drop-in valuation and refreshments in a social setting. The day was a great success and we look forward to our next event with Chilcotts at Oak Tree Gardens in West Hill, Devon.
More recently, Stannary Gardens played host to a delightful summer evening of jazz in September. Guests gathered in the blooming landscaped garden as the sun began to set, to listen to the lilting melodies – and more upbeat vibes – of Mains Gas, led by local estate agent, Philip Fowler.
