This summer, we were delighted to sponsor the Macmillan Gidleigh Opera, held at Gidleigh Park Hotel, only two miles from our Stannary Gardens development in Chagford, Dartmoor National Park. The annual opera event is held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, featuring performances from musicians tipped to be future stars of the international opera world.

Blue Cedar Homes was proud to sponsor the fireworks finale which concluded the evening with a spectacular display over Gidleigh Park. Guests enjoyed ‘Highlights from the Opera’, a wine and canape reception and an auction during the interval, led by Dartmoor Auctions Ltd. The event raised over £12,000 for charity.

In July we were delighted to support the annual summer raffle at John Blandy Primary School. A stone’s throw from our Southmoor Gardens scheme, the school’s annual draw took place after the school sports day. We were pleased to donate a Harvey Nichols hamper prize to support the school to raise funds to purchase valuable equipment and subsidise school trips for the children.
