16 causes benefit from Project Community Fund.
16 locally focused good causes in and around two of our most recent Blue Cedar Homes sites are benefiting from a share in our Project Community Fund.
Separate from any planning obligations, the fund makes available £5,000 for community nominated causes, local to the area of each of our developments. At The Millpool in Stoke Gabriel the beneficiaries are: Stoke Gabriel Scout Group, St Mary & St Gabriel Church, Stoke Gabriel Parish Plan Group, Stoke Gabriel Pre-School, Stoke Gabriel Community Primary School and Rowcroft Hospice.
At our Bampton site, Tannery Gardens, the beneficiaries are: APCAM, Bampton Archery Club, Bampton Community Archive and Library, Bampton Parish Church, Bampton Town Amateur Sports Clubs, Bampton Town Football Team, Clanfield Pre-School, Village Shop, Old School Community Centre and St Mary’s Church.
World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
Coffee and tea drinkers, plus cake fans joined us at Tannery Gardens on Friday 25th September to support the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Because of restrictions and social distancing requirements in place, we showed our support a little differently this year. We invited guests to view our beautiful new homes at Tannery Gardens, Bampton, and each guest received a voucher for a free hot drink and a slice of cake at the Bampton Coffee House. The funds raised went to help support those living with cancer.
